Front and back muers
Replace if the fastener is aking or if the
rubber part is cracked.
Replace if the stop screw has knocked
against the back damper so that the gap
has become enlarged.

Only use parts and accessories recommended
by the manufacturer, otherwise there is a risk
of personal injury and/or material damage.
MAINTENANCE OF BAR AND CHAIN
Make sure that the chain is always sharp to
ensure works smoothly and safely. The chain
should be led if any of the following occurs:
The sawdust is pulverised.
It takes more eort to saw.
The cut is not straight.
The chainsaw vibrates more.
Fuel consumption increases.

Filing the cutting teeth
Check that the chain is correctly and rmly
tted.
Switch o the saw, wait until all moving
parts have completely stopped and release
the spark plug lead from the spark plug.
Use a round le with a suitable diameter
for the chain.

Oregon 91P/ 91VG
Carlton N1C-BL
File diameter 5/32" (4.0 mm)
1. Place the le against the cutting tooth
and press forward as shown in the
diagram in the table on the next page.
2. Hold the le as shown in the diagram in
the table on the next page.
3. When all the cutting teeth have been
led, check the depth gauges and le
them to the correct height as shown in
the table on the next page.
WARNING!
Wear safety gloves when ling the
cutting teeth.
Always round o the front edge to
reduce the risk of kickback, or the side
links breaking.
Check that all the drive links have the
same length and edge angles, as shown
in the diagram on the next page.
