• Clean the mesh on the lter by separating
the lter and cleaning with a brush and
petrol, or by blowing from the inside with
compressed air.
• Put together by pressing the parts until
they click in place.

Remove the bar and check that the oil hole is
not clogged.

Take o the bar and remove dust and chippings
from the oil hole and from the slot in the bar.
Lubricate the sprocket nose through the oil
hole in the tip of the bar.

• Check for fuel leakage and that no parts
are loose or damaged.
• Pay special attention to the attachment of
the handles and bar.
• Have the chainsaw checked and repaired
before using it again.

Do not use the chainsaw if it is damaged.
CHECK POINTS
Cooling ns
Dust and impurities between the cooling ns
reduce the cooling and can cause the saw to
overheat.
1. Remove the air lter and casing at regular
intervals, and clean the cooling ns when
necessary.
2. When retting the casing, check that the
cables and inlets are correctly positioned.

Fuel lter

1. Remove the fuel lter through the
opening to the tank with a steel wire
hook.
2. Dismantle the lter and clean with petrol,
or replace if necessary.
IMPORTANT:
• Secure the end of the suction tube with
a clip when dismantling the lter.
• Make sure to prevent lter bres, dust or
other impurities getting into the suction
tube when tting the lter.
Spark plug
Clean the electrodes with a steel brush and
adjust the spark gap to 0.65 mm if necessary.

Sprocket
• Check that there are no cracks or damage
on the sprocket that can aect the
movement of the chain.
• Replace the sprocket if it is worn, or
damaged.
• Never t a new chain on a worn sprocket,
or worn chain on a new sprocket.
