3. Carefully tap the cover against a hard
surface to clean it.
4. Replace the lter in the cover.
5. Place the cover pin in the slot and press in
place.
REPLACING BLADES
WARNING!
For reasons of safety blades should only
be sharpened and tted by an
authorised service representative or
other qualied personnel.
Wear safety gloves.
We recommend inspecting the blade
before use for optimum results.
Damaged or blunt blades aect the
functionality of the lawn mower.
If the blades or screws are worn or
damaged, always replace the complete
set to avoid imbalance.
Always use original spare parts when
replacing blades, fasteners and bolts.
NOTE:
Do not turn the lawn mower upside down,
tilt it on its side towards the oil ller.
1. Hold the blade and undo the hex screw
anticlockwise with a 16 mm spanner.
Remove the washer and blade.
2. Fit a new or sharpened blade on the two
taps on the mounting ange, and lock in
place with the washer and screw.
3. Check that the blade is correctly
positioned and tighten the screw to
45–50 Nm. Do not overtighten.
CLEANING
Clean the lawn mower after use.
Check that the ejector is free from residual
grass and clear if necessary.
Do not allow grass and other debris
to dry on the surfaces of the lawn
mower. Dry, adhered grass and other
debris can prevent the lawn mower
MAINTENANCE
WARNING!
Always remove the cap from the spark plug,
switch o the lawn mower, and wait until
all moving parts have completely stopped
before carrying out any maintenance and/or
cleaning.
SPARK PLUG
1. Remove the spark plug cap.
2. Undo the spark plug with a spark plug
spanner.
3. Screw it out by hand.
4. Clean the spark plug electrode with a
brass brush, or replace.
5. Adjust electrode gap to 0.76 mm by using
a feeler gauge.

6. Carefully screw back the spark plug by
hand. When it seats, tighten with the
spark plug spanner.
AIR FILTER
WARNING!
Do not start the engine without an air
lter.
Never use petrol or ammable solvents
to clean the lter. Clean the lter with
compressed air, or by tapping it against
a hard surface.
The engine will not work properly if the air
lter is blocked because of the reduction in the
supply of air. Clean the air lter more often if
there is a lot of dust in the air. Replace the lter
if it is very dirty.
1. Release the clip of the air lter cover and
remove the cover.
2. Take out the lter.
