– Put the lawn mower on its right side
(the opposite side to the oil ller
cap).
– Before putting the lawn mower on its
side, empty the fuel tank with a fuel
pump.
– Do not tilt the lawn mower more
than 90°.

STORAGE
SHORTTERM STORAGE
No special preparations are required for
storage less than 2 weeks.
1. Allow the engine to completely cool.
2. Empty the grass catcher.
3. Clean the underside of the mower deck.
4. Store the lawn mower upright on a level
surface.
5. Store the lawn mower out of the reach of
children and unauthorised persons.
LONGTERM STORAGE
WARNING!
• Do not empty the fuel tank in an
enclosed area or near naked ame or
other sources of heat. Do not smoke.
• Petrol and petrol fumes are highly
ammable and can in some situations
be explosive.
The following preparations are required for
storage more than 2 weeks.
Failure to follow these instructions can make it
dicult to start the lawn mower after storage
and may result in extra service.
1. Empty the tank with a fuel pump,
if possible.
2. Run the engine until the fuel tank is
empty and the engine stops due to lack
of fuel.
3. Change the oil at the end of every season
(see section Changing the engine oil).
4. Clean the engine’s cooling ns and the
casing.
5. Clean the lawn mower all over to prevent
any paint damage.
6. Store the lawn mower in a well ventilated
area.
TRANSPORT
WARNING!
• Always remove the cap from the spark
plug, switch o the lawn mower and
wait until all moving parts have
completely stopped before transporting.
• Repairs that are not carried out correctly
can result in the risk of fatal or serious
personal injury and/or damage to the
environment.

empty and the engine stops due to lack

3. Remove the cap from the spark plug.
4. Tap o the oil when the engine is warm
(see section Changing the engine oil).
5. Clean the engine’s cooling ns and the

6. If possible, transport the lawn mower in
its original pack.
