POWER SWITCH
NOTE:
• Prolonged use at a low speed increases the risk of the motor overheating. Avoid overheating by
switching o the drill driver for 15 minutes at regular intervals to cool the motor.
• Always hold the machine rmly with both hands.
1. Start the drill driver by pressing the power switch.
– Press the power switch harder to increase the speed.
– Release the pressure on the power switch to reduce the speed.
2. Release the power switch after drilling to switch o the drill driver. Wait until all moving parts
have completely stopped before putting down the drill driver.
SCREWING
NOTE:
• We recommend predrilling a hole slightly longer with a smaller diameter than the screw to be
screwed in. The predrilled hole helps the screw to come right, and makes it easier to screw in. A
predrilled hole will prevent the wood breaking when drilling near the edge of a workpiece.
• Use the correct countersink drill to properly sink the screw head, so that it does not stick up from
the surface.
• If it is dicult to get the screw in, remove the screw and try with a slightly larger or longer hole.
Note that there must be enough material to grip the screw.
• If you start again with a screw in a hole, insert the screw and screw the rst few turns by hand. If
it is still dicult to screw it in (e.g. very hard wood) you can try using a lubricant. Liquid soap
usually works best.
