Assembly of the bar and saw chain
IMPORTANT: Risk of personal injury. Always wear safety gloves when handling the chai
n.
1. Place the chain saw on a firm surface.
2. Remove the lock nut.
3. Remove the cover over the sprocket.
4. Place the chain on the bar in the right direction. The cutting edge on the teeth should point
forwards on the top the of the bar.
5. Place the oblong hole in the bar over the guide and screw for
chain tensioning.
6. Place the chain around the drive sprocket.
7. Push the bar with the chain forwards. Check that all the chain
links run correctly in the slot in the bar.
