What to do if the main burner cannot light on my Member's Mark Grill?
- RRobert CookAug 15, 2025
If the main burner on your Member's Mark Grill fails to light, several factors could be responsible. Here's what to check: * Ensure there is gas flow by checking if the propane tank is empty. If it's not empty, refer to “Sudden drop in gas flow or reduced flame height”. Replace the tank if empty. * Verify the coupling nut and regulator are correctly connected; tighten by hand only. * Inspect for any obstructions in the gas flow, such as bent or kinked hoses, and clear burner tubes. * Confirm the burner is properly engaged with the valve. * Clean the venturi to remove any spider webs or insect nests. * Clear any clogs or blockages from the burner ports.
