The Memorex MJB179-7248-01 is a versatile karaoke machine that combines audio playback, microphone input, and Bluetooth connectivity. It allows users to play music from various sources, sing along using microphones with echo and volume control, and project LED lighting effects. The device is designed for both personal and group entertainment, offering features suitable for karaoke sessions, public speaking, or simply playing music.

Important Technical Specifications

Power Source: DC 9V 2A via an AC/DC power adapter. It also supports a standard USB power outlet for charging.
Bluetooth: Bluetooth 5.0 wireless connectivity with a range of 60 ft.
Audio Output: Built-in speaker.

Usage Features

Powering On/Off: To power the machine, connect the USB power adapter (included) into the DC Power Input on the speaker and a standard power outlet. Press the Power ON/OFF button to turn the device on or off.

Bluetooth Wireless Pairing & Playing Audio:

When the speaker first powers ON, it defaults to Bluetooth Mode and is ready to pair automatically. The display will show "Bluetooth."
On your Bluetooth device, select "MJB179-7248-01" from the list of available devices.
Once paired, the speaker will announce "Bluetooth is connected."
Use the speaker controls or the connected Bluetooth device to play, pause, and skip tracks. Adjust the volume using the Master Volume Adjust knob on the speaker or your connected device.
After initial pairing, the speaker will automatically connect to the last Bluetooth device used whenever it is in Bluetooth Mode.

USB Media Playback:

Load a USB drive into the USB Media Port. The speaker will automatically switch to USB Mode, indicated on the display, and begin playing media on the drive.
Use the controls on the speaker to select and play audio from the connected drive (Play/Pause, Previous Track, Next Track).

Line In Playback:

Connect a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) from your audio source to the Line In port on the unit.
Press the Source button to switch to Line In Mode.
Use the controls on your connected device to select and play audio. Adjust the volume using the Master Volume Adjust knob on the speaker or your connected device.

Microphone Usage:

Connect a microphone (included) into either of the Mic inputs (1/4 inch jack).
When a microphone is connected, the microphone audio will be added to the main audio output.
Before use, ensure the Mic Volume Adjust knob and Mic Echo Adjust knob are in the ON position.
Use the Mic Volume Adjust knob to control the microphone volume and the Mic Echo Adjust knob to add echo effects.

Disco Light Functionality: The device features LED lighting effects. Press the Disco Light ON/OFF button to activate or deactivate these lights. The Speaker Light ON/OFF button controls the main speaker lights.

Source Selection: The Source button allows users to switch between Bluetooth, USB, and Line In input modes.

Maintenance Features

Read All Warnings: Users must read and understand all safety warnings and instructions.
Clean Only with a Dry Cloth: Avoid using liquid cleaners or aerosols.
