The trim without key period may be ended at any time by moving
the control handle to Wide Open Throttle Reverse (WOTR) with
the key off. To end the 15 minute period for the center engine in a
shadow mode application, ensure all ignition key switches are in
the "OFF" position and both remote control handles are in the Wide
Open Throttle Reverse (WOTR) position.
TILTING TO FULL UP POSITION
Tilt At Helm
NOTE: The trim/tilt switch will remain active for 15 minutes after
the ignition key switch has been turned off.
1. If the ignition key switch has been turned off for over 15
minutes, turn it to the "ON" position.
2. Press the trim/tilt switch to the up position. The outboard will
tilt up until the switch is released or it reaches its maximum tilt
position.
Tilt At Engine
The cowl mounted auxiliary tilt switch can be used to tilt the
outboard with the key switch in the "OFF" position.
Tilt Support Lever
1. Engage the tilt support lever, by rotating knob to bring the
support lever upward.
2. Lower outboard to rest on the tilt support lever.
3. Disengage the tilt support lever, by raising the outboard off the
support lever and rotating the tilt support lever down. Lower
the outboard.
