d. Turn the ignition key switch to the "ON" position for three
seconds. This operates the electric fuel pump.

e. Turn the ignition key switch back to the "OFF" position, and
squeeze the primer bulb again until it feels firm.
f. Turn the ignition key switch to the "ON" position again for
three seconds.
g. Continue this procedure until the fuel primer bulb stays firm.
2. Turn the ignition key switch to the "ON" position.
3. Within the first 10 seconds after the key switch has been
turned on, move the remote control handle from neutral into
forward. This will automatically start the priming process.
PURGING AIR FROM THE ENGINE OIL TANK
1. Loosen the fill cap on the engine oil tank.
2. Start the engine.
3. Operate the engine until all the air has vented out and oil starts
to flow out of the tank.
4. Re‑tighten fill cap.

WARNING
Operating the boat at high speeds with the outboard trimmed too
far under can create excessive bow steer, resulting in the
operator losing control of the boat. Install the trim limit pin in a
position that prevents excessive trim under and operate the boat
in a safe manner.
