thrown within or out of the boat. Always use required
components and follow instructions and torque procedures.
a - Bolt (12‑71970)
b - Flat washer
c - Spacer
d - Nylon insert locknut (11‑16147‑‑3)
e - Steering bracket ‑ Install steering link rod into side hole
f - Nylon insert locknut (11‑16147‑‑3) (tighten until seats then
back off 1/4 turn)
Description Nm lb. in. lb. ft.
Nylon insert locknut "d" 27 20
Nylon insert locknut "f"
Tighten until seats, then back off 1/4
turn
