To prevent silt and/or salt buildup in cooling system, flush with
freshwater after each use and prior to storage.
If flushing cooling system with boat in water, raise drive unit to
TRAILER position, install flushing attachment and lower drive unit to
full DOWN/IN position.
If flushing cooling system with boat out of water, remove propeller
before proceeding. If propeller is not removed observe the following
precaution.
WARNING
When flushing, be certain the area around propeller is clear,
and no person (or animal) is standing nearby. To avoid possi-
ble injury, remove propeller.
