3. Compress the shift shaft spring (650 N. or 65 Kg force) using
a Meritor suitable service tool MST4708 - CT48
(Figs.2.62 & Fig 2.63).
4. While the spring is compressed insert it into a service tool
MST4211 - CT07 and remove from the spring compression
tool (Figs.2.64 & Fig.2.65).
