MONTHLY CHECKS
● Check that the anti-tip wheels do not rub the ground when you are operating the
powerbase wheelchair; adjust them as necessary.
● Check for extreme wear on the anti-tip wheels. Replace them as necessary.
● Check for drive tire wear. See an authorized provider for repair.
● Check the front/rear castors for wear. Replace as necessary.
● Check the front/rear forks for damage or fluttering which indicates that they may need
to be adjusted or the bearings may need to be replaced. See an authorized provider for
repair.
● Keep your powerbase wheelchair clean and free of foreign material such as hair, food,
drink, etc.
YEARLY CHECKS
● Take your powerbase wheelchair to an authorized provider for yearly maintenance.
This helps to ensure that your powerbase wheelchair is functioning properly and helps
prevent future complications.
