Step 50. Press the Cursor buon to move to the second line on the screen which reads FREQ. CAL (Fre-

quency Calibraon). Enter the sensivity value that corresponds to the frequency to be set (8000 Hz).

You can get the sensivity value from the Standard Accelerometer documentaon.

• Press the RUN buon.

• Set the frequency to 8000 Hz and the amplitude (GIR) to 1.0 G.

• Press the SPACE buon to calibrate the frequency.

• The Correcon Factor should not be less than .85 or greater than 1.15.

• Record the Correcon Factor on line 39 of the CHECK-OFF Sheet.

• Press the down arrow buon. The CALIBRATE 9000 N screen appears.

Step 51. Press the Cursor buon to move to the second line on the screen which reads FREQ. CAL (Fre-

quency Calibraon). Enter the sensivity value that corresponds to the frequency to be set (9000 Hz).

You can get the sensivity value from the Standard Accelerometer documentaon.

• Press the RUN buon.

• Set the frequency to 9000 Hz and the amplitude (GIR) to 1.0 G.

• Press the SPACE buon to calibrate the frequency.

• The Correcon Factor should not be less than .85 or greater than 1.15.

• Record the Correcon Factor on line 41 of the CHECK-OFF Sheet.

• Press the down arrow buon. The CALIBRATE 10000 O screen appears.

Step 52. Press the Cursor buon to move to the second line on the screen which reads FREQ. CAL (Fre-

quency Calibraon). Enter the sensivity value that corresponds to the frequency to be set (10000 Hz).

You can get the sensivity value from the Standard Accelerometer documentaon.

• Press the RUN buon.

• Set the frequency to 10000 Hz and the amplitude (GIR) to 1.0 G.

• Press the SPACE buon to calibrate the frequency.

• The Correcon Factor should not be less than .85 or greater than 1.15.

• Record the Correcon Factor on line 43 of the CHECK-OFF Sheet.

Unit Setup Procedures

Step 53. Use the numerical keypad and enter the number “308”. The Unit Setup Screen appears.

Step 54. The OEM selecon should be ashing. Use the Select buon to select the Accelerometer Manu-

facturer of the Transducer Under Test.

Step 55. Press the CURSOR buon unl the Serial Number eld is blinking. Use the le arrow buon to

clear the exisng number and use the numerical keypad to enter the serial number of the accelerom-

eter you are tesng.

Step 56. Press the MODE buon unl the SENSITIVITY screen appears.

Step 57. Press the Select buon to set the transducer for VOLT.

Step 58. Press the Cursor buon to select the Current. With the mA eld blinking, push the select buon

and set the Current for 1.1 mA.

Step 59. Connect the REFERENCE OUT to the Channel “A” (J1) input of the TTS.

Step 60. Press the down arrow.

Step 61. Press the RUN buon.
