Disassembly and Assembly
WARNING: During operation, the module is internally pressurized with fluid
such as chemicals, which may cause injuries. Before any disassembly
manipulation, make sure that there is no more internal pressure. Follow the
steps listed in the first section of the manual for a safe work environment.
Ball valve
Ensure the ball valve inner (housing) pressure is released by partially opening the ball
valve. All ball valves need to be in the closed position prior to disassembly. When using
sockets, apply axial force to prevent the socket from skipping.
1. Loosen the mushroom nut (25) and remove the connector (26/27/28).
2. *Loosen and remove the sleeve cone (22) with a 27-mm socket.
3. Loosen and remove the ball valve carrier (2) with a 27-mm socket.
4. Remove the ball (4) from the ball valve housing.
