Read all instructions before operating the equipment for safety and proper use.
Connect the transmitter to the unit and the antenna to the connector using quality coax.
Unit requires a 9 VDC battery or an external 12 VDC source for operation.
The internal lamp requires 12 VDC to illuminate the meter scale.
Connect a 50-ohm dummy load to the ANTENNA connector to measure power output.
Push the ON/OFF button to turn the unit ON; 12 VDC also activates the lamp.
Use the 300/30 Watt button to select 300/60 Watts or 30/6 Watts scales.
Use the PEAK/AVG button to switch between peak envelope and average power readings.
Interpret the forward power measurement on the left meter scale based on the selected range.
Interpret the reflected power measurement on the right meter scale based on the selected range.
Determine SWR by observing where the forward and reflected needles cross the red curves.
