3.4 Windows 10 Information
The Windows 10 operating system includes some changes to the way it works with drivers. The
following information may be helpful to those who are encountering problems installing the
OriGen+ drivers on Windows 10.
3.4.1 Windows 10 Known Limitations
The VIA USB Device Deck will no longer work for setting the sample rate and bit depth under
Windows 10. Instead, Windows 10 advancements includes full support for setting all available
sample rates and bit depths to 32-bit/192kHz in the built-in playback device settings, under the
advanced tab.
3.4.2 Windows 10 Upgrade
If you previously successfully installed OriGen+ drivers on a computer and then upgraded to
Windows 10, it will continue to work well under Windows 10. If you do encounter any problems,
you may run the driver package to first uninstall the driver, and again to reinstall.
3.4.3 Windows 10 New Install
