Directional control,
extend, or retract does
not respond
Check fuse 1FU in
electrical box
Replace fuse if necessary
Loose electrical
connection
Check and secure connections
Check hydraulic system pressure
Overheating hydraulic
system
Refer to the Duty Cycle section of
Chapter 3
Ambient temperature
above 86°F (30°C)
Relocate processor or reduce ambient
temperature
Fill to recommended level
Oil leaking from isolator
Hydraulic cylinder rod
seal leak
Product leaking from
liquid end assembly
High pressure piston
seal worn
Replace piston seal, backup ring, and
bearing
Leaking high pressure
connection
Collar not properly
installed on the nipple

Deformed nipple or
mating fitting
Replace damaged components
Piston will not extend or
retract while motor is

Verify electrical connections to the
motor are wired correctly
Check pressure on the hydraulic gage.
Pressure should be over 100 psi with
motor running.
No power to directional valve solenoid
Check fuse 2FU and wire connections
