Setting Up the Mouse

Insert the battery or batteries
The mouse requires one or two AA batteries (included in the package).
Note Always use new batteries whenever you need to replace them.
1 Remove the battery compartment cover on the underside of the mouse.
2 Insert the new battery or batteries. Be sure to properly orient the positive (+) and negative
(-) ends as shown in the battery compartment. Replace the battery compartment cover.
2 Turn on the mouse (some models only)
● IfyourmousehasanOn/Offswitchontheunderside,ensurethatitisturnedon.
Tip When not in use, turn off the mouse to conserve battery life.
3 Plug in the transceiver
● Withyourcomputerturnedon,plugthetransceiverintoaUSBportonyourcomputer.
Setupiscomplete.
Storing the Transceiver
When on the move, you can store the transceiver on the underside of the mouse.
Ifthetransceivertsintothebatterycompartmentcover,snapitintothecovertoturnoffthe
mouse and conserve battery life.
