6. Remove SSD Shielding cover and Screw – Use the plastic opening tool to pry up shielding cover. Slide the
tool under the lip on the top side of the shield. Use a PH00 screwdriver to remove the screw securing the
SSD.
7. Clean TIM Residue – Inspect SSD for TIM residue. Carefully wipe away any residue with 70% IPA solution.
8. Remove SSD – Carefully grab sides of SSD case and pull out of the mainboard socket at ~15 degree angle.
