Scanning the Materials
Positioning the Materials
1. Place the material to be scanned face down on the scan bed (scanner glass
surface), towards the right of the scanner. Center the top of the original
along the ruler on the scanner.

2. If the scanned material is folded or creased, put numbers of movable press
plates (optional, not standard accessories) in needs at the top of the material
to make it at.
When positioning movable press plates on the scan bed,
a) hand on movable press plates with both of your hands;
b) then; watch out for the scanner glass surface and put them down
gently.
