cook top off.
2. Apply a cook top cleaner
while t he glass is st ill warm
(but not hot !)
3. Rinse and wipe dr y w ith a
clean cloth or paper t owel.
4. Swit ch t he power t o t he
cook top back on.
• When t he pow er t o t he cookt op is
sw it ched off, ther e will be no ‘hot
surface’ indication but the
cook ing zone m ay still be hot !

cleaner or scourer is suit able.
• Never leave cleaning r esidue on

Boilovers, m elt s, and
hot sugary spills on
the glass
Rem ove these imm ediat ely
wit h a fish slice, palet t e knife
or razor blade scr aper suit able
for ceram ic glass cooktops,
but beware of hot cooking
zone surfaces:
1. Swit ch t he power t o t he
cook top off at t he wall.
2. Hold the blade or utensil at
a 30° angle and scrape the
soiling or spill t o a cool ar ea
of the cooktop.
3. Clean the soiling or spill up
wit h a dish cloth or paper
towel.
4. Follow st eps 2 t o 4 for
‘Ever yday soiling on glass’
above.

as possible. I f left t o cool on t he
glass, t hey m ay be difficult t o
rem ov e or even perm anently
dam age t he glass surface.
