1 Display Panels
1.1 Types of Display Panel
Two types of display panel are used on VRF indoor units: digital display panels (the new style display panels) and
the four LED display panels (the old style display panels). Examples of the two styles are shown in Figures 3.1 and
3.2.

Notes:
1. Flashing slowly means flashing once per second.
2. Refer to 2.4.2 “Auto-restart setting”.
3. Unless a timer has been set, in which case the TIMER light/LED will be on.
4. In heating mode, cold draft prevention ensures that the indoor unit fan only runs when the indoor heat exchanger mid-point temperature is above a
certain temperature. Refer to Tables 2.1 to 2.6 in 2.1 “PCB Switch and Jumper Settings”.
5. In heating mode, outdoor units perform the defrosting operation in order to recover heating capacity. Refer to the outdoor unit technical
documentation.
6. The statuses of the other lights/LEDs are determined by whether the unit is currently in standby, auto-restart delay, shutting-down or operating.
