2.  Location selection
2.1  Unit location selection can refer to 
installation manual.
2.2  DO NOT install the unit in the 
following locations:
 • Where oil drilling or fracking is taking place.
 • Coastal areas with high salt content in the air.
 • Areas with caustic gases in the air, such as near hot 
springs.
 • Areas with power fluctuations, such as factories.
 • Enclosed spaces, such as cabinets.
 • Areas with strong electromagnetic waves.
 • Areas that store flammable materials or gas.
 • Rooms with high humidity, such as bathrooms or 
laundry rooms.
 • If possible, DO NOT install the unit where it is ex-
posed to direct sunlight.
2.3  The minimum distance between the 
outdoor unit and walls described in 
the installation guide does not apply 
to airtight rooms. Be sure to keep the 
unit unobstructed in at least two of 
the three directions (M, N, P)
