Verify Frame Wire Ground
After disconnecting the frame wire and
before connecting cables, the Repair Manual
instructs you to measure the resistance
between the ground connection on the frame
wire and body ground. If the shield line of
the frame wire is not securely connected to
body ground, the error message “Battery not
detected” or “HV bonding test failed” may
appear, and the GRX-5100 will not operate.
If the resistance is greater than 1 Ω, follow
the inspection procedure outlined in the
Repair Manual.
