How to fix Midtronics Battery Charger display not illuminating?
    • J
      Julie RobertsJul 30, 2025
If the Midtronics Battery Charger display doesn't light up, first, check the connection to the battery. If that's not the issue, the battery might be too low to power the analyzer; in that case, fully charge the battery and try again. Also, the internal 9-volt battery may need replacement, so replace it and retest. The issue could also be computer or ignition noise. Ensure all vehicle accessory loads are off and the ignition switch is off. The analyzer will automatically retest when the system noise is gone. If the SYSTEM NOISE message persists, disconnect the battery cables and retest. Finally, if the analyzer doesn't power up when you press the PRINT/VIEW button, try replacing the 9-volt battery.

If the STATUS LED is flashing on the Midtronics Battery Charger printer, it means there's a printer fault. This could be due to a paper shortage, so add new paper. Alternatively, the thermal head might be too hot, so allow it to cool down. Lastly, the printer battery could be low, so recharge it for 16 hours.
