Afterwaterthroughputofapprox.3litres,thewaterinthe
steamgeneratorisdrainedintotheresidualwaterdrawerthe
nexttimetheapplianceisswitchedon.
Therinsingprocesslastsforafewminutes.
Youwillrecognisetherinsingprocesshasbeenactivated
afterswitchingonwhentheindicatorlightontheirondoes
notilluminate,theirondoesnotheatupandsteamcannot
beused.
Waterisdrainedintotheresidualwaterdrawer.Whileitis
doingthis,somesteammaybereleasedandburbling
noisescanbeheard.
Nootherfunctioncanbeusedwhiletherinsingprocessis
running.
Onlyafterautomaticrinsinghasfinishedisthesteam
ironingsystemreadytouseagain.
Preparingtherinsingprocess

position(see'Heightadjustment')sothattheresidualwater
drawercanberemovedlater.

appliance,youneedtofillthewatercontainer(see'Filling
