If an error occurs a fault message will appear in the right display. Minor problems
can be fixed without a service call.

The selected coffee chamber is empty. Fill with coffee capsules.
Please fill with fresh water This is a reminder to fill the water tank
with fresh water when the machine is
turned on.
Please set the time of day The machine was disconnected from
the power supply and the time of day
needs to be reset.
Set the time of day.
Empty drip tray and clean
contacts
The drip tray is full and the metal
contact sensors in the tray are soiled.
Empty and clean the drip tray.
Clean and dry the contacts.
Please use descaling
funnel and close the door
The capsule plate needs to be taken out
and replaced by the descaling funnel.
Remove the capsule plate and
insert the colored funnel.

The capsule plate or perforator are
missing or the descaling funnel is still in
the machine.
Insert the capsule plate or
perforator.
Please insert carousel The carousel is missing or the sensor
under the carousel tray is soiled.

valve is closed.
Press the steam lever down.
Please close the valve The steam lever is still pressed down. Push the steam lever up.
Maintenance required The capsule carousel needs to be
replaced after about 15,000 cups of

Turn the left jog shuttle to
"Settings". Turn the right jog
shuttle to maintenance and
change the perforator (see

Maintenance").
Confirm to start The selected process is prompted to

Confirm to continue The descaling needs to be continued. Press the right jog shuttle.

zero, the machine locks until the
