Miele CVA 6405 - Conditioning the milk valve

Clean the surfaces around the central
spout (see arrow) with a well-wrung-
out damp cloth.

Reassemble the dispensing unit in
the reverse order:
Make sure that upper connecting
piece a clicks into position. Press
dispensers b firmly onto the
dispensing unit.

Replace the dispensing unit in the
central spout.
^
Replace the cover.
Conditioning the milk valve
The milk valve should be cleaned once
a week to ensure good quality milk
froth.

Touch x.
^
Touch the Y arrow until
"Maintenance" is highlighted.
Touch the OK sensor.
^
Touch the arrow sensors until
"Condition milk valve" is highlighted.
Touch the OK sensor.
The milk valve will move into the
maintenance position.
Important. You must remove the
cleaning brush before confirming
"Quit maintenance position" with
"OK". Otherwise the coffee machine
will be damaged.

Insert the brush in the milk valve.
Move the brush back and forth.
^
Touch the OK sensor.
The milk valve will move into the correct
position and the milk pipework will be
rinsed through.
