Retaining plates
There are three retaining plates A, B
and C for fixing the cooker hood to the
wall.
Before mounting the retaining plate
draw a vertical line centrally on the
back wall at the selected position.
First of all drill the holes for attaching
the vapour guide (canopy) and for fit-
ting the retaining plate A.
Mark measurement S from the hob
surface upwards. This marks the
height of the lower rim of the cooker
hood.
Holes for the vapour guide (canopy).
DA 196
Drill a 6 mm diameter hole
c on the
middle line 22 mm above the height
marked S and insert a S6 plug into the
hole.
DA 199
Drill two 6 mm diameter holes
d 22mm
above the height S and 250 mm right
and left of centre. Insert S6 plugs.
Retaining plate A
Drill 2 holes, 8 mm in diameter, one
at S +100 mm and one at S + 425
mm on the centre line for the retain-
ing plate and insert S8 plugs
