Repairs should only be carried out by a suitably qualified and trained
person in accordance with local and national safety regulations. Unauthorised
or incorrect repairs could cause personal injury or damage the dishwasher.
Problem Possible cause Remedy
The "Start/Stop"
indicator light does not
flash after the appliance
has been switched on
with the "On/Off" button.
The door is not properly
closed.
Close the door firmly.
The appliance is not
plugged in.
Insert the plug.
The fuse is defective or
has tripped.
Replace the fuse
(see data plate for
minimum fuse rating).
The dishwasher stops
during a programme.
The fuse is defective or
has tripped.
Replace the fuse
(see data plate for
minimum fuse rating).
The "Water inlet"
indicator light lights up
and flashes alternately.
The stopcock is closed. Open the stopcock fully.
The water inlet filter is
blocked.
Before rectifying the
problem you must:
Press the "Start/Stop"
button for at least one
second.
Switch the dishwasher
off using the "On/Off"
button.
Then:
Clean the water inlet
filter, see "Cleaning the
water inlet filter".
The Waterproof system
has reacted.
Call the Miele Service
Department.
