Before fixing the fault:
ĺ Turn the dishwasher off with the ɩ button.
There is a problem with the water intake.
There might be water in the wash cabinet.

ĺ Clean the drain pump (see "Frequently asked
questions").
ĺ Clean the non-return valve (see "Frequently asked
questions").
ĺ Remove any kink or loop in the drain hose.
