Thermo-electric flame failure
monitor
Your hob is equipped with a thermo-
electric flame failure monitor. If a gas
flame is extinguished, e.g. by food boil-
ing over or by a draught, the gas supply
is switched off. This prevents the re-
lease of gas. If you turn the rotary con-
trol to the position, the burner is ready
for use again.
The thermo-electric flame failure mon-
itor operates independently from the
electricity supply. This means that it
will still work if the hob is used during
a power cut.
