Instructions for building-in
These hobs are classified as ”Y“ class
for heat protection. There may be a wall
at the rear and wall or tall units at one
side. On the other side, however, no
unit or divider must stand higher than
the hob.
With Miele kitchen furniture the fol-
lowing minimum dimensions must
be kept:
– a distance of 100 mm from ad-
jacent units if they are susceptible
to heat, otherwise some form of in-
sulation must be fitted.
– a distance of 65 cm between the
hob an any wall unit fitted above it.
– a distance of 65 cm between the
hob and cooker hood, or more if
building regulations require.
Any backmoulds must be of heat
restistant material. With other kit-
chen furniture suppliers please com-
ply with their recommendations for
distances.
If a drawer or shelf is fitted under-
neath the hob unit ensure that there
is a distance of at least 80 mm be-
tween the base of the hob unit and
the upper edge of the drawer or
shelf.
Prepare the worktop cut-out as illus-
trated.
Dimension ”B“ applies for a combina-
tion of appliances and is given on
the chart.
