Installation
Preparing the worktop
Make the worktop cut-out as shown
in “Building-in dimensions” or as
calculated (see “Installing several
ProLine elements” in the “Installation”
chapter). Remember to maintain the
minimum safety distances (see
“Installation – Safety distances”).
Wooden worktops
Seal any cut surfaces on wooden
worktops with a special varnish,
silicone sealant or resin to prevent the
wood from swelling as a result of
moisture ingress. The sealant must
be heat-resistant.
Make sure that the sealant does not
come into contact with the top of the
worktop.
Position the spring clamps and the
spacer bars at the top edge of the
cut-out in the positions shown in the
illustrations.
Secure the spring clamps and
spacer bars with the 3.5x25mm
wood screws supplied.
