Miele T 4453 C - Electronic system lock; To activate the lock; To deactivate the lock

The system lock prevents your
machine being used without your
knowledge.
It can be activated if wished.
The dryer's electronics are locked. The
dryer can still be switched on but a
programme cannot be started. The
locked indicator light will flash if an
attempt is made to start a programme.
The door is not locked and can be
opened at any time.
To activate the lock
Before you begin, first ensure that
:
– The tumble dryer is switched off.
– The door is closed.
A Press the
Anti-crease and DRYING
LEVEL buttons at the same time and
hold them pressed in until you reach
step D below.
B Press the
I-On/0-Off button in.
C Press the
Short/Low temperature
button three times.
D Then release the
Anti-crease and
DRYING LEVEL buttons.
The
Locked indicator light will flash.
The electronics have now been locked.
E Switch the dryer off with the
I-On / 0-Off button.
To deactivate the lock
Before you begin, first ensure that
:

The tumble dryer is switched off.
–
The door is closed.
A Press the
Anti-crease and DRYING
LEVEL buttons at the same time and
hold them pressed in until you reach
step D below.
B Press the
I-On/0-Off button in.
C Press the
Short/Low temperature
button three times.
D Then release the
Anti-crease and
DRYING LEVEL buttons.
The
Locked indicator light will go out.
The electronics are no longer locked.
E You can now use the dryer or switch
it off with the
I-On/0-Off button.
