Messages or faults with the TwinDos system
Problem Cause and remedy
 Cartridge 1 almost
empty. Only a few
more programmes
are possible
The detergent in the cartridge is running low. There is
sufficient left for approx. 4 to 8 wash programmes.
 Order a new cartridge.
 TwinDos  is
empty. Check wash
results
The cartridge is empty.
 Replace the cartridge.
 Check whether the laundry is clean. If it is not,
there may not have been enough detergent.
Wash the laundry again if necessary.
 Use "TwinDos" or
start Maintenance.
See 
TwinDos or automatic dispensing via compartment 
and/or  has not been used for a long time.
 Use TwinDos for one of your next loads.
 Carry out the TwinDos maintenance programme as
described in “Cleaning and care - TwinDos main-
tenance”.
 TwinDos Mainten-
ance for compart-
ment  must be
started. See 
TwinDos or automatic dispensing via compartment 
and/or  has not been used for a long time. It is pos-
sible that detergent has dried inside the hoses.
 Carry out the TwinDos maintenance programme
immediately as described in “Cleaning and care -
TwinDos maintenance”.
No detergent was dis-
pensed.
Automatic dispensing is deactivated.
 Before the next wash programme, ensure that the
TwinDos sensor control is lit.
Detergent is not dispensed even though the TwinDos
sensor control is lit.
 Try again.
 If detergent is still not dispensed, call Miele.
