1. Purpose
This document descibes how to fix four FFC mounted on JV33-130/160 Slider PCB ASS
to prevent the FFC from breaka
e
2. Tools to be used
(1) Phillips screwdriver
3. Parts to be used
(1) Sealing material (sponge)
L=110mm (TM-238-15-15)
(2) Double-stick tape 3 pcs
L=30mm (No.532 width: 8.5mm)
4. Operating time
Approx 30 minutes (Including discharge time (15 min) and operation check)
5. Procedures
(1) Turn the main power OFF and pull the power cable out.
Caution: For electrical discharging, be sure to leave the machine more than 15 minutes
afterturning off to pull the FFC out.
(If pulling the FFC out without electricaldischarging, the printhead and the
main PCB may be broken.)
(2) Remove Wiring cover (M508746)
Caution: Handle the cover with care because the cable for optional ventilation unit
Caution: Do not put the screws on the printer
