The GPX 5000 has three search modes switch position
DEEP GENERAL CUSTOM
CUSTOM mode is an open position, which allows for
the selection of one of the FOUR additional Search modes
Via the rear panel and LCD Menu
GENERAL MODE: Best compromise of sensitivity, stability, depth and signal response under a variety of conditions
DEEP MODE: Used to detect a SMALL AREA VERY SLOWLY & CAREFULLY. It is optimised for very slow sweep to
provide maximum depth, on large targets.
