  If your Minelab Metal Detector is emitting random noise, several steps can be taken to resolve this. Begin by performing the Ground Balance function again. If the noise continues, retune the detector using the Auto Tune button. You can also try setting the Coil/Rx switch to Cancel. Reducing the Gain may also help. Ensure you are not near other detectors in operation or in an area with thunderstorm activity.
