3.4.6 Format Memory Card
The format setting erases all photos, videos and data stored on your
memory card.
1.
In all Photo and Video Modes press the MENU button.
2.
Press the LEFT or RIGHT buttons until a wrench icon is highlighted.
3.
Select using the UP or DOWN buttons and press
the MODE/OK button to enter the menu.
4.
Press the LEFT or RIGHT buttons to navigate the menu, and press the
MODE/OK button to confirm your selected option (Yes, No).
NOTE: This will delete all of your media and cannot be
undone.
3.4.7 Restore Default Settings
Factory default settings can be restored in this menu. This function will not
delete the media stored on the memory card, and will only restore all of the

This setting displays the current firmware version of your camera.

Select Version using the UP or DOWN buttons and press the MODE/OK
button to enter the Version menu. The camera information will now be
displayed on the screen.
4.
Press the MODE/OK button to exit the Version menu.
