UNLOCKING (UNPROTECTING) IMAGES
Display the images for which
lock (write-protect) is to be
cleared with steps to on
pages 81 - 82.
Press the exposure-
compensation/lock button.
• This clears lock (write-protect) for the
displayed image.
• A Lock icon in the LCD monitor
disappears.
Repeat to for any other
images for which lock (write-
protect) is to be cleared.
When an attempt is made to
delete a locked (write-protected)
image, CAN’T ERASE appears
on the LCD monitor as shown left
to indicate that the image cannot
be deleted.
If you want to unlock (unprotect) all of the images, select “UNLOCK ALL” in the
Play mode menus. See page 90 for details.
