Release Notes
• [Ref. #19045] If you try downloading XEdit from a system that does not have the same
version of the software as the last one used on the current client PC or laptop, you may
see an error message (“Unable to launch application”) and XEdit will not start.
Workaround: Clear the Java plug-in cache. To clear the cache: (1) Close all Java
applications you may have open. (2) Open the Java Control Panel (on the Start menu,
point to Control Panels, and then click Java). (3) In the General tab, click Settings. (4) In
Temporary Files Settings, click Delete Files. (5) In Delete Temporary Files select all the
check boxes, and then click OK. (6) Optionally, clear your Web browser’s cache.
