Release Notes
[Ref. #KX-4895] GPI alarm acknowledgment: UMDs that only have their tallies configured
to report GPI alarms, with latching enabled, may fail to respond to
unlatch/acknowledge operations.
[Ref. #KX-4489] Alarm latching: Monitors configured to report alarms with latching
enabled, may sometimes fail to report a latched error status if an alarm status returns to
normal and then to error again shortly after the alarm was acknowledged.
[Ref. #KX-4902] KMV-3901/3911 and Densité controller default action: If the Densité
CPU-ETH2 controller associated with a KMV-3901/3911 multiviewer is configured to
apply settings stored in its non-volatile memory whenever a Densité card is inserted or
restarted, then it may not be possible to restart the multiviewer.
[Ref. #KX-4840] KMV-3901/3911 dashboard message: In the case of a KMV-3901/3911
multiviewer, the message that appears in the status dashboard after Ethernet
communication is lost may falsely indicate that a duplicate IP address was detected,
and this message may persist after communication is restored.
[Ref. #KX-4812] KMV-3901/3911 3D stereoscopic display option: In the case of a
KMV-3901/3911 multiviewer, the multiviewer’s 3D stereoscopic display option may
invert the left and right eye sources, in which case some monitors would show an
altered image when monitoring 3D signals.
[Ref. #KX-6263] KMV-3901/3911 timing jitter: In the case of a KMV-3901/3911
multiviewer, the timing jitter (10
Hz) at the HD-SDI monitoring outputs has been
brought back within 1
UI for HD output, and within 2 UI for 3G output.
[Ref. #KX-2567/KX-2586] False video freeze alarms: Using a duration of less than 3 seconds
for video freeze debouncing may result in false alarms being generated.
[Ref. #KX-4638] Kaleido-X freeze detection: On occasions, slow, dark scenes may result in
false video freeze alarms being generated.
[Ref. #KX-4898] Actions: In XEdit version 6.50, when you right-click an alarm in the System
list that appears under the System tab, or in the filtered System lists associated with the
Actions and Channels/Sources tab, the Set action menu is momentarily not available.
Note: If you have an iControl application server, you may have used its GSM
alarm browser to configure an acknowledgement snooze duration, which
defines the period during which alarm status changes detected by your
multiviewer are ignored, immediately after an alarm is acknowledged. Such
a snooze period is typically not desirable in the context of multiviewer
alarms. After upgrading your multiviewer to version 6.60 or later, you may
want to verify whether the value indicated for this property is appropriate for
your current purposes (see
iControl on page 53, for details).
Note: All KMV-3901/3911 cards within a housing frame must have their
output heads configured with the same refresh rate. If your frame is
referenced, then the heads’ refresh rate must also match the reference
signal's refresh rate.
