Bug Fixes
Bugs Fixed in Kaleido-X Version 6.51
[Ref. #37117/37260] Kaleido-IP: In some circumstances, XEdit may become unresponsive
when connected to a Kaleido-IP multiviewer.
[Ref. #KX-6211] Kaleido-IP: The Kaleido-IP may fail to distinguish between multiple
instances of a program when the same multicast stream is added to different network
adapters.
[Ref. #KX-6276] Kaleido-IP: At startup, a Kaleido-IP system with audio monitoring enabled
may fail to show some of the programs assigned to monitors in the current monitor
wall layout: a number of video windows may remain blank, and some audio monitors
could be unresponsive. In addition, some alarms may appear with a disabled status in
XEdit.
[Ref. #KX-6284] Virtual alarms: XEdit version 6.50 does not allow building virtual alarms
associated with an iControl Application Server that has iControl version 4.30 (or later).
Bugs Fixed in Kaleido-X Version 6.50
[Ref. #36705] Router control: In the case of a multiviewer configured to control an
upstream router, if the router configuration includes a logical level ID that was changed
at some point for something other than the default value (0) then further modifications
to the router configuration in XEdit may momentarily disable your multiviewer’s router
control features, until you restart the multiviewer.
[Ref. #36828] Clusters: In the case of a cluster where members are configured with
upstream routers sharing the same friendly name, restarting a cluster member may
result in some monitors failing to reflect further crosspoint changes, on the monitor
wall.
[Ref. #36403] Virtual alarms: Since version 6.30 of the Kaleido-X software, when you
attempt to edit a virtual alarm, any global alarms that were contributing to this virtual
alarm may disappear from the virtual alarm definition, if they were generated from
logical sources that had a category defined in the Cat. column, under Source info, in
the sources table.
[Ref. #36661] Kaleido-IP: Kaleido-IP systems with audio monitoring enabled may
momentarily stop working after a number of days. The frequency and likelihood of this
happening is dependent on the number of streams begin monitored and on the
network load.
[Ref. #36163] Kaleido-X (14RU) with large router: After restarting an Kaleido-X (14RU)
expansion system configured with a large upstream router (for example a
configuration with more than 1000 inputs), if the current layout uses most of the tie-
lines, then some monitors may show an error message (Unable to control the upstream
router) instead of the expected router sources.
[Ref. #35514] Kaleido-X16, Kaleido-X (4RU), Kaleido-X (7RU): After importing a large
router configuration (for example a configuration with more than 1000 inputs), the
multiviewer may momentarily exhibit reduced responsiveness due to high CPU usage.
[Ref. #33815] Aliases from NVISION router configurations: Alias changes initiated from
NV9000-SE Utilities may fail to be reflected on the monitor wall.
