f- Always stop the machine ,
1. Whenever the machine is left unaended;
2. Before clearing a blockage;
3. Before checking, cleaning or working on the
machine;
4. After striking a foreign object. Inspect the
machine for damage and make repairs before
restarting and operating the machine
5. If the machine starts to vibrate abnormally, for
immediately check
- inspect for damage
- replace or repair any damaged parts
- check for and tighten any loose parts
f- Take care against injury to feet and hands
from the cuing means.
g- Always ensure that the ventilation openings
are kept clear of debris.
2.BRUSH CUTTER SAFETY WARNINGS
– In addition to the above rules, these additional
instructions are appreciate when using the
machine in brush cuer mode.
– Use heavy gloves while installing or removing
blades, they have sharp edges.
– Do not aempt to touch or stop the blade
when it is rotating.
– A moving blade can cause severe injury.
Maintain proper control of the machine with
both hands until the blade has completely
stopping rotating.
– Replace any blade that has been damaged.
Always make sure blade is installed correctly
and securely fastened before each use.
– Use only the manufacturer’s blade and do not
use any other cuing aachment.
– Cover the blade with the blade protector
before storing the unit, or during
transportation. Always remove the blade
protector before using the unit. If not removed,
the blade protector could become a thrown
object as the blade begins to turn.
– For cuing ease and safety, approach the
weeds being cut from the right to the left.
In the event an unexpected object or woody
stock is encountered, this practice could
minimize the blade thrust reaction. Both
hands must be used at all times to control
these products.
3. HEDGE TRIMMER SAFETY WARNINGS
1. Read the instructions carefully for the correct
handling, preparation, maintenance, starting
and stopping of the hedge trimmer. Become
familiar with all controls and the proper use of
the hedge trimmer.
2. Never allow children to use the hedge
trimmer.
3. Beware of overhead power lines.
4. Avoid operating while people, especially
children, are nearby.
5. Dress properly! Do not wear loose clothing
or jewellery, which can be caught in moving
parts. use of sturdy gloves, non-skid footwear

unusual noise or vibration, shut o the power
source and allow the hedge trimmer to stop
and take the following steps:
- inspect for damage;
- check for, and tighten, any loose parts;
- have any damaged parts replaced or repaired
with parts having equivalent specications;
- warn of the need for ear protection.
- warn of the need for eye protection.
- instruct in how to stop the hedge trimmer in an
emergency.
Operation
Provide instructions for correct use and an
indication that the hedge trimmer should not
be used for any other purpose, as well as the
following instructions.
1. Stop the machine
- cleaning or when clearing a blockage,
- checking, carrying out maintenance or
working on the hedge trimmer
- adjusting the working position of the cuing
device,
- leaving the hedge trimmer unaended.
2. Ensure that the hedge trimmer is correctly
located in a designated working position
before starting the engine.
3. While operating the hedge trimmer, always
ensure that the operating position is safe
and secure, especially when using steps or a
ladder.
4. Do not operate the hedge trimmer with a
damaged or excessively worn cuing device.
5. Always ensure that all handles and guards
are ed when using the hedge trimmer.
Never aempt to use an incomplete hedge
trimmer or one ed with an unauthorized
modication.
6. Always use two hands to operate a hedge
trimmer ed with two handles.
7. Always be aware of your surroundings and
stay alert for possible hazards of which you
may not be aware due to the noise of the
hedge trimmer.
