CAUTION: Verify that the following conditions
are met before commencing work.
1. The oil tank has been lled with suicient
chain oil and the lubrication system has been
checked.
2. The chain is tensioned.

STARTING THE CHAIN SAW
1. Hold the main handle of the Chain saw with
one hand and the other hand hold assistant
handle.
2. Push the safety lock buon backwards
and press the switch trigger, the Chain saw
starts(Fig.16).
3. Release the safety lock buon.

SWITCH OFF THE CHAIN SAW
1. Release the switch trigger.
2. Gather up the guide bar and chain cover.
PRUNING(FIG.17)
1. Make sure the tool is running at full speed
before making a cut.
2. Hold the tool rmly in place to avoid possible
bouncing or sideways movement of the tool.
3. Guide the tool through the branch using light
pressure. When cuing heavy branches,
where a partial cut may splinter and damage
the tree, proceed as follows:
- Make the rst cut 150mm from the tree trunk
on the underside of the limb. Use the top of
the guide bar to make this cut.
- Cut one third through the diameter of the limb.
Then cut down from the top.
