How to fix a version combination error on a Mitsubishi Electric Air Conditioner?
    • M
      Marilyn CarterAug 17, 2025
A version combination error on your Mitsubishi Electric Air Conditioner occurs because the apportioned electricity billing function of the AE-200 has been enabled, but the AE-50/EW-50 is a version that is not supported (version earlier than 7.23) by the apportioned electricity billing function. To resolve this, update the AE-50/EW-50 to Ver.7.23 or later. The equipment recovers from the error and then data collection resumes after a maximum of 30 minutes elapse. For how to update the software, refer to "VIII [1] AE-200/AE-50/EW-50 update procedure."

How to fix Mitsubishi Electric Air Conditioner charge calculation results not displayed?
    • T
      Theresa WilliamsAug 20, 2025
If the charge calculation results are not displayed or printed from the Charge Calculation Tool of your Mitsubishi Electric Air Conditioner, it could be due to the printer being offline or the cable not being connected. Remove the cause of this problem, and print the calculation results from the Charge Calculation Tool again. Another possibility is that the printer connection settings have not been made. Also, check if the LAN between the AE-200 and the PC is properly connected and if the IP address setting of the AE-200 is correct. Ensure that the ID or password for the AE-200 is correct.

What to do if the Mitsubishi Electric Air Conditioner shows a “Charge” license not registered?
    • C
      Crystal YoungAug 23, 2025
If the Mitsubishi Electric Air Conditioner displays a 'Charge' license not registered error, it means that with the apportioned electricity billing function of the AE-200, the “Charge” license needs to be registered to all the AE-50/EW-50 under the control of the AE-200, but there is equipment to which it is not registered. To resolve this, register the “Charge” license to all the AE-50/EW-50 under the control of the AE-200.

Why does my Mitsubishi Electric Air Conditioner display a system configuration change warning?
    • M
      Matthew SaundersAug 26, 2025
The Mitsubishi Electric Air Conditioner shows a system configuration change warning because the AE-200 and AE-50/EW-50 back up each other’s data with the apportioned electricity billing function of the AE-200, but the backup data no longer matches after the AE-200/AE-50/EW-50 was replaced. To fix this, perform an apportioned data restore for the new AE-200/AE-50/EW-50. Note that the equipment recovers from the error and then data collection resumes after a maximum of 30 minutes elapse. For how to restore apportioned data, refer to AE-200 Instruction Book (Apportioned Electricity Billing Function).

What to do if data is not printed automatically from Mitsubishi Electric Air Conditioner?
    • J
      Jennifer TorresAug 31, 2025
If data is not printed out automatically or the CSV file is not output automatically from your Mitsubishi Electric Air Conditioner, it might be because the PC is switched off or the printer is offline, or the cable is not connected. As a temporary procedure, carry out a specified date calculation and remove the cause of this problem for the next automatic output. The printer connection settings may also not have been made. Another reason could be a communication error with AE-200 is occurring. It is also possible that “Automatic output” settings have not been made on the Charge Calculation Tool.

What to do if 'Failed to connect to AE controllers' appears on Mitsubishi Electric AE-50A?
    • R
      Ryan HendersonSep 5, 2025
If the message 'Failed to connect to AE controllers' appears when accessing the Mitsubishi Electric Control Systems Integrated Centralized Control Web and no login window appears, it could be due to a few reasons: there might be a communication error with the login destination centralized controller, more than 50 users might be accessing the web interface, or the login destination centralized controller is still starting up. To resolve this, first, check the LAN connection. If that's not the issue, reduce the number of users accessing the Integrated Centralized Control Web to 50 or less. If the problem persists, wait for approximately 5 minutes to allow the startup process to complete before attempting to access the web interface again.

Why are air conditioning units not displayed on Mitsubishi Electric AE-50A Control Systems?
    • K
      Kimberly RussellSep 8, 2025
If the air conditioning units that can be monitored and operated are not displayed in your Mitsubishi Electric Control Systems, it could be due to a communication error with the AE-200/AE-50/EW-50 or incorrect integrated centralized control settings. First, check that the LAN connection is correctly connected. Then, use the Initial Setting Tool to monitor the settings and ensure that the centralized controllers are correctly set for control.

If the layout in Integrated Centralized Control Web is broken or the buttons do not work on your Mitsubishi Electric Control Systems, it might be because the software version of AE-200/AE-50/EW-50 was updated, or the settings were changed using the Initial Setting Tool. If the login screen does not open for your Mitsubishi Electric Control Systems, it might be because the URL entered in the browser is incorrect. Why errors are displayed on the [Malfunction] screen of Mitsubishi Electric Air Conditioner?
    • J
      Joseph BakerNov 27, 2025
If errors are displayed on the [Malfunction] screen or the error log is displayed on the [Unit Error] screen of your Mitsubishi Electric Air Conditioner, it could be due to several reasons. It might be that the versions of the AE-200/AE-50/EW-50 are not appropriate for an apportioned electricity billing function. Check the versions of the AE-200 and AE-50/EW-50. Another cause may be that apportioned data have not been restored after the AE-200/AE-50/EW-50 was replaced, or the system configuration was changed. Restore the apportioned data. Also, verify that the license has been properly registered to each AE-200 and AE-50/EW-50. Communication errors between the AE-200 and AE-50/EW-50 could also be the reason, so check for proper LAN connection between the AE-50 and EW-50. Finally, check if ...
