2. SYSTEM CONFIGURATION
2.4 System Configuration Overview
There are four system configuration types as follows:
The details of the system configuration, number of I/O points, I/O number assignment,
etc., of a stand-alone system are listed on the next page.
(1) Stand-alone system
.............. A system with a main base unit only, or with a main
base system and an extension base unit connected
with the extension cable.
(2) Network system

A system that controls multiple programmable
controllers and remote I/O modules
(3) Computer link system
.............. A system that communicates between the CPU module
and the computer (personal computer, etc.) by using
an A1SJ71UC24 computer link module
(4) Composite system

A system that has a combination of a network system
and a computer link system
